Sabrina

Sabrina is a stunning, fluffy-toed cutie who will lure you in with the sweetest “look at me eyes” and seal the deal with her never-ending purr.  But more than looks, she is a respectful, independent and easy-going companion.  Sabrina is a true lady of leisure and prefers spending her day napping fully stretched out on a cozy blanket but is still a young girl who gets the zoomies from time to time.  She enjoys her scratching pads and toys she can bat around and dabbles with the string toy here and there.  When she does want attention, she'll come find you for some quality chin scratches (especially around meal times).

Sabrina is very well behaved – she has no interest in climbing on kitchen counters and respects closed doors but is sometimes curious about what lies beyond.  She has displayed perfect litter box etiquette in her foster home and has a healthy appetite and she knows how to turn on the charm to get extra food. Sabrina’s sniffer is on high alert when her foster mom makes human food but she does have a sensitive tummy so she will need to remain on a sensitive skin and stomach diet.

 We don’t know Sabrina’s whole story before she came to POA but we do know that she is still learning to trust, so she needs a patient, experienced cat person who understands feline body language.  While Sabrina is still fearful and, at times, reactive to fast hand movements, she has shown incredible progress with accepting pets and affection in her foster home.  We are hopeful that the right person who is willing to dedicate the time and move at Sabrina’s pace will rebuild her trust.  She would do best in a calm, adults-only home where she can be the one and only pet.
