Introducing Bella!

Who out there loves coming in the door to be greeted by the happiest of canine dances? Well, look no further than Bella! She has the HAPPIEST wiggle butt ever and does so talking to you the whole time, while holding her favorite toy in her mouth. She is a SUPER MUTT thanks to DNA testing, but is a just turned 12 month old, Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix by our standards. Bella came to us after months of loose stool from her past home that was not able to give her the care she needed. After veterinary workup we found that Bella has a very manageable GI issue that will require lifelong medication and special food. She came to us quite underweight, but with the appropriate treatment is thriving and putting on much needed weight (she currently weighs 34lbs, but should weigh 50lbs). Bella will thrive in a home where she is the center of attention - she loves being fussed over and would be great in a home with respectful children 8 years of age and older. No cats for Bella. She would do well in a house with a calm, confident adult dog to show her the ropes. Please note that due to Bella needing to eat 3 times daily with medications at this time and needing just as many bathroom breaks, she will need a home where someone can be there several times throughout the day. Bella will make an extremely devoted, loving companion to her furever home.
