Here's Dewey!

Meet Dewey! Dewey is a german shepherd puppy estimated around 4 months old who weighs about 25 lbs. Dewey came to POA from a local town animal control. He is super affectionate and loves to snuggle when exercised. He loves exploring on walks and enjoys playtime with various toys. Dewey is working on his leash skills and basic commands (already learned sit!), as well as house-training and crate-training. Dewey would benefit from an active family committed to continuing his training and socialization. He is super smart and rather food motivated so obedience training would be really fun with him! Dewey is dog-friendly but has not been tested with cats or spent much time around children. He is recommended for families with dog-savvy children over the age of 12 given his puppy mouthiness and jumpiness. Dewey is also neutered and up-to-date on all the vaccines for his age.
