Meet Dewey!
This is Dewey! He is a 1 year old Dachshund/Italian Greyhound mix and weighs 13lbs. This sweet boy came to us under-socialized and practically scared of his own shadow. With patience and consistent handling, Dewey has quickly been gaining confidence and has been learning that the world is not a scary place. Dewey is an energetic boy who has found that he loves to chase after and play with toys thrown for him. He has also proved that he can be an affectionate little guy who loves pets and praise. Dewey will need a family committed to his continued socialization and who will provide him with opportunities for lots of positive experiences out in the world! Dewey's new home should have a calm, confident dog or two to help show him the ropes. An active, adult-only home will be best for Dewey as he learns "how to dog!"
