Now presenting, Jake! He is a 10 year old Shih Tzu/Miniature Poodle mix and weighs 13lbs. Jake is a dapper, friendly fellow - strangers are just friends that he hasn't met yet! This little guy has lots of go, go, go and is very bouncy - it is VERY hard to believe that on paper, he is technically a senior! If you are looking for a walking buddy, you've found him! A minimum of a one mile walk a day is a must in his book! After exercise and playing with stuffed toys (the more the better!), Jake is ready to curl up on your lap and take a snooze. Jake would be happy with an adult home or one with dog savvy children 10 years and older (he can be mouthy at times when he gets excited so no little humans for this boy). He has shown friendly, playful interest in other small dogs that he has met and may consider sharing a home with a similar-sized pup. Connecticut adopters only please!
