Imagine what it must be like for a dog to be living in a loving home and then the owner dies, so she ends up in the pound? That’s pretty much what happened to Magda, this sweet Lhasa Apso.. She was not abused or neglected, just a victim of circumstance. Now we are on a mission to find her a great home like the one she had.
Despite being uprooted, Magda is such a good girl that she has adjusted well to being kenneled and remains friendly and eager to please. She’s 10 years old, spayed of course, and in good health. At 24 pounds she is small but sturdy
Magda is simply amazing on a walk. She never pulls on the leash and she’s eager to hop in the car and go for an outing. Last week one of the POA volunteers walked her past a church and Magda wagged her tail and cheerfully greeted everyone coming out. She has a really engaging personality.
The ideal home is quiet with no small children and where Magda will be the only pet. Daily walks are a must and a fenced yard is a plus. And, because she will bark when she wants attention, a house would be better for Magda than a condo.
This little dog is really an ideal companion. So if you can give Magda the love and attention she deserves, please contact Elizabeth.a@poainc.org (Connecticut residents only)
