Here's Max!

Introducing Max! Max doesn't think an introduction is necessary because he's kind of famous. You see, Max was on the run through three Connecticut towns for about a month with a community of dog lovers coming together to try and catch him. He says he could have kept going, but those people all seemed really nice and he settled down in Newington to eventually let himself get caught. We're not surprised that Max willingly surrendered because this guy is a people LOVER. At about 65 pounds, he may look intimidating, but he is a true gentle giant. He’s about 4-5 years old, great with other dogs, and loves going for long walks with lots of sniffs. Max does some signature whining when our volunteers leave for the night and it breaks our hearts. But we keep telling him not to worry - his very own home and furever family are just around the corner.
