Meet Scooter!
Here's Scooter! He is a 1-2 year old adorable mix of Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund/Beagle...or so we think! Scooter is a pup who has lots of energy, and he just loves running, playing ball and chasing his new friend, Charlie. As POA's shelter's are temporarily closed because of COVID-19, Scooter is being boarded with a professional trainer. He is doing well learning leash skills and proper doggie etiquette. Scooter's new family will need to be committed, and have the time to continue his training, set boundaries at home and socialize him. He may do well living with a dog his size and is fine with cats. Scooter is not a good candidate for children. An adult-only home would be best for him, and families familiar with Jack Russell and Dachshund breed characteristics would be very helpful.
