Meet Silas!
Now presenting, Silas! He is an 11 year old Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix and weighs a very sturdy 17lbs. Silas is a dapper, friendly fellow - strangers are just friends that he hasn't met yet! This guy has lots of go, go, go - it is VERY hard to believe that on paper, he is technically a senior! He has a personality that fills a room and he adores attention. If you are looking for a walking buddy, you've found him! Silas also is always at the ready to curl up on your lap and take a snooze (as long as he gets a full body massage first - he will insist!). Silas would be happy with an adult home or one with dog savvy children 10 years and older (he can be protective of his toys so no little humans for this boy). He is indifferent towards other dogs that he has met and happily entertains canine walking partners. He may consider sharing a home with another similar-sized pup (he may be happy to be a doggy roommate, but not a playmate). Connecticut adopters only please!
