Introducing Vinny!

Hi There! My name is Vinny and I am a 1 year old Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier mix (MUCH more Yorkie than anything with my personality!). Don't mind my unruly, long locks - I have an upcoming spa day, so stay tuned for "after" pictures! I can be uncertain when it comes to meeting and trusting new people, especially men, (I was never socialized in my previous home), but once I spend time with you and get to know you as my friend, I am all about loves, cuddles, and smiles! My new home absolutely needs experience with living with/managing fearful dogs and instilling boundaries, routine, and structure. I am looking for an active home that will include me regularly in activities outside of the home, that will provide me with continued, positive experiences out in the real world! I have recently learned that going for long walks is super fun - I get to stretch my legs and use my sniffer. I may enjoy sharing my home with a calm, confident canine sibling. An adult home without children as residents or frequent visitors will be best for me. Connecticut adopters only please.
