Six-month-old Winnie is as soft as a spring morning. She has stunning ebony fur and shining eyes. People are drawn to her just for her looks.
But her looks are not all she has to offer. Winnie is cuddly, funny, and sweet. She is stealing hearts left, and right. She only recently arrived so we do not know yet how she is with other cats, but we should by the end of the week. Our guess is that she will likely be adopted by someone who meets her this weekend or the next. She’s just that kind of lovely.
Winnie could easily have had a much harder life. She was found abandoned outside. She hadn’t been spayed. Had nobody stepped in, tiny Winnie would have been a mother by summer. If she survived. But somehow, someone noticed Winnie and decided to change the course of her life. We always say that we could not do it without a community. Winnie is a perfect example of what that means.
