Owen – The Fluffy Purr Machine with a Nose for Trouble (Literally)
Owen is a 4-month-old domestic medium/long hair boy and certified professional snuggler from the “Little O’s” litter—alongside Ophelia, Odin, Othello, and Ozzy. Together, they operate as a highly coordinated cuddle pile that expands whenever a lap becomes available… or even vaguely available.
Owen is the definition of soft. Soft fur, soft heart, and a very loud purr that kicks in the moment he makes contact with a warm human. He especially loves settling onto his foster mom’s chest like he’s clocking in for his favorite job: “Full-Time Blanket Supervisor.”
Now, Owen is sweet… but he is not without quirks. When he’s deeply relaxed and happy (which is often), he sometimes gives a tiny love nibble to the nose. It is not aggressive. It is more like a fluffy little “boop… with teeth.” He is actively working on this behavior, but honestly, he seems mildly confused as to why humans are not into affectionate face sampling.
When he’s not busy being adorable on top of a human, Owen is fully committed to playtime chaos. He wrestles, tumbles, and chases his siblings with enthusiasm, treating every toy like it was personally handcrafted for him and him alone. Ping-pong balls, tunnels, wand toys—he accepts all offerings.
He also remains loyal to the ancient kitten tradition of “if one sibling is running, I must immediately pursue them at full speed for no reason whatsoever.”
Owen would thrive in a home with another playful cat—ideally one of his siblings or a similarly energetic friend who appreciates both wrestling matches and unsolicited cuddle ambushes.
He’s fluffy, funny, affectionate, and just a little bit chaotic in the most lovable way—a purring cloud with legs and very strong opinions about nose proximity.
Initially, they were not fond of the Friskies pate. They finally started eating with Friskies shreds (chicken or Turkey and giblets) and fancy feast grilled chicken or turkey. Now they enjoy Friskies pate, poultry platter or turkey and giblets.
