Name: Kira
Age: 1 year
Breed: Siberian Husky
Sex: Female
Here's Kira!
Meet Kira! She is a 1 year old Siberian Husky (her parents were both Huskies and she was the runt of the litter). Kira weighs in at a miniature 36lbs - that's it! She could stand to gain 2-3lbs, but is "a whole-lotta-Husky-in-a-little package."
Kira loves to be outdoors and to explore her surroundings, but she ABSOLUTELY NEEDS a physically fenced yard (with supervision as she likes to scan her means of escape to go explore the world). Kira is learning how to walk nicely on a leash (she likes to try to chase squirrels and birds!) and is thriving on 2 mile walks (and occasional runs) daily. She would adore a running partner, as she has so much energy to burn.
Kira lived with her mother, father and sibling. We have seen that true to Husky nature, she needs a pack. She is not a fan of being alone and desperately wants to play with other dogs, but overwhelms those pups smaller than her. She would love to have a similarly sized or larger playmate or two. Children 8 years of age and older will be considered.
